The iPF680 has been designed to fit comfortably into any CAD/GIS environment. A compact, slim-line design and front-access paper system means you can install the printer wherever you like – even flush against a wall. All operation including ink tank changing is carried out from the front, so you never need to disrupt your office no matter where you decide to place the printer.

A large LCD control panel featuring graphic animations ensures it’s quick and easy to get to grips with. Prints are automatically stacked and can be collected from a high capacity basket to prevent damage and there’s even a handy print timer to keep you abreast of how long a job will take to complete.

Expect exceptional productivity with draft A1 prints available in just 24 seconds. Canon’s L-COA image processing technology and Gigabit Ethernet compatibility ensure stunning high-speed reproductions on everything from architectural plans to geographic information.

“Hot-swap” ink tanks allow ink cartridges to be replaced during printing for maximum productivity.

A built in accounting function allows accurate tracking of the cost per print and the overall cost of your printer and enables you to view the data through the printer driver, or export it to a CSV file for use in your own files or systems. An Economy mode can be selected which uses less ink - ideal when printing draft documents. Furthermore, Canon’s eMaintenance software automatically detects and manages mechanical problems and low ink levels, linking directly to a Canon service centre for maximum uptime.

Canon’s 5-colour dye-and-pigment reactive ink system produces vivid colours and the sharpest, thinnest lines and the new magenta ink makes the red gamut even better. With a range accuracy of +/- 0.1% as well as a minimum line width of 0.02mm, precision is guaranteed. Images are rendered at 2,400 x 1200 dpi for maximum impact, thanks to super-fine print heads using 15,360 nozzles.

The iPF680 is compatible with HP-GL/2 and HP-RTL, including the ability to set palette and pen settings, for the most demanding CAD workflows. As well as an HDI driver for AutoCAD and for Microsoft Office users, there is a plug-in to print in Word, Excel and PowerPoint directly from the application.
